About XII

XII is a NA PC Gaming group which was founded in 2007 by four of the current members – who had played RTCW (v1.0) together since around 2002 in various other clans (including EQ & the MOB Deathmatch team). As the RTCW community slowly shrank, XII began to branch out into other games around 2010 – including the Battlefield & COD series of games. Several of our members have also played together with the Scottish gaming group OCB (Owld Crabbit Bastarts) for many years and continue to maintain a relationship with our Euro friends. Most of our members are currently playing Pubg and have since beta; though we are always on the lookout for new games to enjoy together!

We have always focused on FPS Team based TDM/OBJ or BR gaming; with a strong emphasis on proficient overall teamwork and strategic decision making, as well as developing individual skill sets. Some of us have now been playing side by side, multiple nights a week – for over 20 years. This long term familiarity, helps foster a tight knit group with exceptional communication and coordination ability.

Newer members can expect a laid back, no-drama atmosphere – with players who are happy to engage and get to know you – as well as helping out when/if needed. Outside of gaming, our members are dedicated professionals in their own fields (ranging from Programmers and Architects to Artists and Small Business Owners). Many of us have spouses and/or children as well. The XII gaming community is our relaxation outlet from the everyday pressures of work or family, and this is reflected in our casual, friendly atmosphere.
